What is the WIOA Program?

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program designed to help eligible individuals access the education and skills they need to gain jobs or boost their careers. Once deemed eligible by a local career center, individuals may be approved to utilize WIOA funds to fully cover training costs for educational programs at approved training providers.

How to Get Started

1. Determine WIOA Eligibility

Find and contact an American Job Center
(Link: American Job Center Finder | CareerOneStop) near you and apply for services.

2. Connect Your Local Job Center with International College

Upon finding a program at International College that is right for you, ask your local job center to reach out to us or provide us with your case manager’s contact information and we will reach out to them directly for eligibility information.

3. Gain Funding Approval and Enroll

Once approved by your local job center, we will assist your case manager with approval documentation and start the formal enrollment process at International College.
